Cases
What this way of thinking looks like in real work.
Three businesses with three different realities, and three different answers. We only state what we can show. Where we cannot show a result, we do not claim one.
01 Hortiluma
A working operation
Hortiluma is part of the same family that owns Dimerso and Farol. That is stated here, in the case, not in a footnote. It is what lets us show the operation from the inside, and the reason this case follows a stricter standard.

Produce, crates and two people at work on the shop floor.
The entrance, with customers at the counter. - What we entered
A produce store in San Antonio de Belén: fruit, vegetables, groceries and meat sold at the counter, customer orders, and electronic invoices and tickets issued to Hacienda.
- What we noticed
Four kinds of work leaned on the same products every day: charging at the counter, invoicing, coordinating orders and telling customers what was available.
- What we decided
Not a tool for each job, but one system that all four could read and write.
- What we made
The store runs on Farol, Dimerso’s own product.
- Electronic invoicingIssues invoices and electronic tickets to Hacienda.
- Point of saleCharges customers at the counter.
- OrdersReceives and coordinates customer orders.
- StorePublishes its catalogue and receives orders on its own site.
- What changed
The store works on Farol every day. It is in production, not a pilot.
02 BeautyBox
The customer side of a service business

The live booking flow, at the step where a customer picks a branch. - What we entered
A beauty business with more than one location, where a customer has to find a service and a place before booking.
- What we noticed
What stood between a customer and an appointment was on the customer’s side: getting from a service that interests them to a reservation.
- What we decided
Build the public booking experience around the real structure of the business: its services and its locations.
- What we made
The public appointment experience, with a direct path from a service and a location to a reservation.
03 KMR Legal
A bilingual professional presence

English: the specialties section, as published.
Spanish: the same section. - What we entered
A legal practice focused on real estate law and estate planning, presenting itself in English and Spanish.
- What we noticed
Someone arriving for the first time could not easily tell what the firm does, or how to reach it.
- What we decided
Organise the practice around its specialties, and give a first-time visitor direct ways to make contact in both languages.
- What we made
A bilingual corporate site that structures the firm’s services and creates direct contact paths.
Your business will not look like any of these.
That is the point. Tell us how yours works.
